28 Days left before the elections and it’s looking like people are choosing Obama in the State Polls. But from an observer’s point of view, this election has been such a joke, it’s crazy. People look at this election as if “Oh, if Obama wins then US will be saved,” or when McCain supports view it, they say “Oh, McCain will bring a white light with him.” No pun intended. C’mon now people, it won’t take one day to change the entire nation and put it back into its superpower position.
Candidates or Superstars?
This election has really put me off government because it shows how low politicians will go to get into the place they want. Both McCain’s and Obama’s policies don’t seem too good for America. If both candidates were portrayed unbiased, and if somehow we’d never been exposed to Barrack being black and McCain being old who chose the most inexperienced candidate for Vice President, then these elections would be headed a totally different way. The Green Party would probably have a good chance of winning with their policies if they had as much media coverage, but instead it the media turned these two candidates into superstars.
We’re on Thin Ice
The winning party should really just rationally think things through and prepare some strong, realistic goals and achieve them before we allow China to dominate the world. America has so many enemies that it should not really be making anymore. We need to respect other cultures, nations, and traditions, and stop looking at everyone as foreigners living on our land. Not all Arabs are terrorists and not all Italians are mobsters. This is a perfect time to recognize these facts and learn to be good with everyone on all fronts while we strengthen up. Even though I’d hate to admit it, we’re on thin ice and it looks like either India, Russia, or China will be underneath it when it breaks.
Message to the People
My final message to everyone is to demand the most from your candidates, but expect realistic outcomes. It won’t take a day or two to put America back in its place, but if we take all the correct precautions then we can expect better outcomes than ever before. Remember the Great Depression, remember Katrina, remember 9/11… we’ve lived through it all and we’re still here. All we need is to stay on course and rise above the cynics.

We’ve lived through a lot of disasters, both economical and natural, but the main goal is to change the track of where we’re headed because once you’ve dug yourself into a hole, digging even more won’t get you out but will get you into more trouble. We need to find ways to rescue the country and only then can we start rebuilding.
Just watched the second debates. Obama KILLED IMO!! Obama is the future and his answers showed that. McCain misunderstood some questions and MISanswered them. Interesting debate overall.
@ Kenny G: I agree with your thoughts. I think Obama did take this one, but I wish Obama and McCain weren’t the only two candidates debating.
