Jennifer Hudson’s Tragedy

hudson-with-mother.jpgOscar winning actress, Jennifer Hudson, who starred in Dreamgirls and started her career in ‘American Idol’, is in desperate grief. Her mother, Darnell Donerson, 57, and brother, Jason Hudson, 29, were found murdered in their home. Then four days later, her nephew was found shot dead in the trunk of a stolen car.

The main suspect seems to be William Balfour, 27. He was in a relationship with Jennifer Hudson’s sister, and police say there was a domestic dispute the day of the mother and brother’s murder.

I wanted to say how bad I felt when I first saw this on the news, and was shook to imagine being Jennifer Hudson, having to go to the morgue to identify her mother, brother, and, nephew’s bodies. It’s a despicable incident and I wish the murderer is brought to justice. If William is in fact the real killer, then I hope the police find enough evidence to put him behind bars for life without chance of parole. I cannot even begin to explain how difficult it must be to have such a tragedy occur in your family. God bless.

  2. I’ve seen this story but the last I heard they were still looking for him. It’s a shame that this has happened. But not to take anything away from the family but how many other people were killed in the same week in the world? My thoughts go out to the family.

  3. Nakisha, I completely agree. It’s true a lot of people have died the same week but we don’t see them anywhere on the news except the last page of a newspaper. But then again not only is she famous but three members of her family were killed cold-bloodedly. Sad story.

  4. Disturbing. Just goes to show you that it doesn’t matter how successful you can are, tragedy hits everybody. Enjoy every moment you’re alive.
